Computer Virus Prevention & Control

Firewalls prevent unwanted traffic from entering our network and the machines connected to it.  Without them, malicious machines outside our network could gain access to data stored on our computers, install malware and viruses, or shut down our servers.  Symantec Endpoint Protections is installed on all computers to scan and remove viruses.  We also use many other tools and scans to remove malware, including the Sysinternals Suite, Malwarebytes, and ESET.  If a virus is particularly difficult to remove, we may re-image the computer to be sure it is clean.
